We were asked to create a textured grotesk for CCM, a canadian sporting goods brand. Each glyph has three alternates as well as an optional initial form. The randomization of the characters is completely handled by the built in OpenType features. Since CCM uses the typeface for their hockey equipment advertisements, they asked for a latin and cyrillic character set in order to cover their most popular markets. The development of the cyrillic was overseen by russian type designer Maria Doreuli.
